A library to browse
Collect books, comics and manga with authors, publishers, covers and personal notes. Switch between grid and list views, search for a title and filter by type.
A home for the books you have read, the manga you follow and the stories you want to remember.
CozyReader is a reading journal: it helps you organise your titles and remember what you read, when you read it and what you thought of it.
Collect books, comics and manga with authors, publishers, covers and personal notes. Switch between grid and list views, search for a title and filter by type.
Record dates, reading status, ratings and notes. Each title’s page brings together its reading entries and volumes, including rereads.
For works with multiple volumes, you can enter the total if you know it and mark the series as completed on a particular date. Statistics distinguish standalone books, volumes and series.
Look back at your reading month by month, along with your most-read publishers and types of book. Filters and sorting help you find older entries too.
The app works offline, with no account, advertising or usage analytics. The covers you choose are stored in its private database, not added to your phone’s gallery. I do not receive your library and cannot access it remotely.
You can import and export your library as an Excel-compatible CSV file. Exports include reading entries, notes, series details and cover thumbnails; preferences stay on your device. The file is not encrypted, and you choose where to save it.
Automatic Android backup is disabled in the app’s configuration. To keep a copy of your library, use manual export. Details about device transfers and external services are in the privacy policy, also available in Italian.
I am working on version 1.2.0, with an adaptive library grid, detail pages and statistics by type. The app follows your phone’s language, Italian or English, and lets you choose a light, dark or system theme. It is still in development, and I have not set a public release date.
